A Summary of our Terms and Conditions
YOU, the "CLIENT", are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
CLIENT’S RESPONSIBILITIES DURING WEB SITE SETUP
- Complete the Configuration Questionnaire
- Choose and purchase a domain name
- Provide graphics to create page header (if Custom Header purchased)
- Provide logos or graphics to identify the sponsor
- Provide text for ‘Sponsors’ page (if purchased)
YOU accept that this Neighborhood Web Site is a template
site and whilst the databases, tools and applications provide tremendous
content flexibility, structural changes are limited.
THE SMALL PRINT
- Your site will be considered built and charges due even if you have
not yet procured a domain name or set the DNS (Domain name servers)
- YOU acknowledge that the Service is based on a Template and as such changes to the functional
structure are limited.
- Blue Fire Group can, by arrangement in the future and at an additional cost, add
additional pages and menu items as you require.
- Your order DOES NOT INCLUDE any additional pages or menu items other
than those specified in the TERMS & CONDITIONS.
- Blue Fire Group will host the site on a Blue Fire Group server and
we will use a Domain name that is purchased by and set up by us. YOU may choose to use your own domain name too - this name will
be PARKED on our servers and will provide an additional URL for accessing
the site
- Blue Fire Group is providing YOU with a Service based on the
use of a web site and associated technologies. YOU are agreeing
to pay a monthly license for the use of this service.
CLIENT’S ON-GOING RESPONSIBILITIES
YOU will be responsible for managing the registered
users and moderating content when necessary.
YOU acknowledge that Blue Fire Group is not responsible for
moderating content on your Neighborhood website.
YOU will be able to able to use the Administration Control Area
to:
- Access, review, export and print a report of registered residents
- Remove any residents from accessing service
- Add articles to the News section
- Moderate all areas such as Forums and Classified Ads
- Upload documents to the Library (maximum individual file size permitted
is 2.5MB)
- Send email or newsletter using the neighborhood directory database.
Specifications and Capabilities of your Neighborhood Site
- All email accounts in the system will be set up to FORWARD to YOUR personal email address
- YOU may request up to 10 email forwarding addresses
- POP Email accounts can be provided at an extra cost of $1 per account
per month. No technical support is provided for POP email accounts.
- We do not support SMTP services (i.e. sending email through our servers
using your email accounts).
- Each site is initially allocated 100MB of data storage.
- The standard service includes a bandwidth
provision of up to 10GB per month
- The maximum file size for uploaded files is 2.5MB. Clients are responsible
for splitting files larger than 2.5MB into smaller files for the purposes
of uploading them.
Virtual Assistant
The optional Virtual Assistant service will perform a specific set of
tasks each month as set out in the description of the Virtual Assistant
Service.
The Virtual Assistant will generally only be available for contact
via email apart from the monthly scheduled call.
The Client's responsibilities include:
- Provide a newsletter briefing to the Virtual Assistant once a month
in a 20 minute phone call.
- Collect and email to the Virtual Assistant any news items or articles
required to be posted to the news area prior to the scheduled monthly
call.
- Provide editorial or other guidelines to the Virtual Assistant if
required.
BLUE FIRE GROUP
- Blue Fire Group will grant the Client a license to use the Neighborhood
Web Site Applications, and provide Site Support Services on a monthly
basis.
- Technical Support and on-going technical administration via email,
to maintain the operability of the Web Site.
- Site hosting services including email accounts as required
- On-Line Help Desk support
REFUNDS
If the Client cancels the order within 3 days, all deposits will be refunded
less a $25 service charge.
If the Client cancels following this 3 day period, no refund of the deposit
is given.
